Cross Country - Penrith Saturday 17th October

The second counter for the Cross Country Championship takes place in Penrith this weekend.

Sadly another clash with a relay, this time the FRA which is taking place in Ennerdale on the Sunday. So there will be some notable absentees but with the fell season coming to its conclusion we can expect competition to start heating up over the coming weeks. Despite the clashes there is plenty of opportunity for those missing the opening Cross Country races with four races remaining and three required to qualify.

For those interested, the Penrith Cross Country will kick off with the juniors from midday. The senior race will begin just after 13:00. This year the race will be situated at Frenchfields (turn right just after Penrith Rugby Club). The usual; £2 entry fee, Club vests, bring your own pins, and remember your number if you took part at Cockermouth.
