Borrowdale Fell Race -'Youtube' video

See the following link for a good video of the leaders in this years Borrowdale Fell Race, and the runners who followed, on the descent form Scafell Pike to the Corridor Route.

See 5:35 in the video for "a fine example of how not to take the optimim line". Sorry Mark -some things must be broadcast if only to discourage their reccurence, ever again.

very good, shame about the music!. I want to hear what Mark (and others) had to say.I remember the sound of rocks chasing me down there, snapping at my heals.

-yeah, a stray rock to the ankle can give you a nasty knock but you can't be forever afraid of stray rocks to the ankle otherwise you'd never get out your front door.

I love the video -everytime I see that bit where Mark falls and disappears behind that shoulder gives me a giggle. Just the thought of it sets me off now -thanks Mark for cheering me up

I think it's a great peice of footage. And good to see I'm not the only one who slipped and slithered his way down!

lost about 20 spots coming down there - a little girl could come down quicker. 17 years of marriage, a 2 year old and a house to do up take away focus! First major fell race in a couple of years i'd fogotten how to descend. Glad to be of amusement - the cock ups make the best craic!
