Moorclose 10k report

Hi. Just a brief report on the Moorclose 10k. Lots of yellow vests on view reflecting the fact that this was the second race in the club's road race championships. So many good performances that I don't know where to start - and I fear I may get some wrong or miss some out. If I do - my apologies - the official results aren't out yet. Anyway, here goes. In the women's race, Julie Carter won overall, Gill Conroy ran a storming race to win the F35 (thanks for the hurry up, Gill!), Sue Wilkinson won the F45 and Julie, Gill and Debs Edgington won the team prize. In the men's race, meanwhile, Russell Maddams and Steve Hebblethwaite came 2nd and 3rd respectively, Ian took an unbelievable ~3 mins off his PB (now sub 35 mins) to take 6th, Patric scooped the M60 and Russ, Steve and Ian waltzed off with the team prize. Lots of other great performances, as could be seen from all the post-race smiling faces. As well as some inspiring cheerleading from Pippa and Jo - for which, many thanks. Well done all.
