Tough conditions for this notorious race over the South Pennines were no discouragement to Colin Valentine on Saturday. The Todmorden Harriers race, which climbs around Stoodley Pike has twice been an English Championships counter, the last time in 2005. Colin turned out a fine performance over the 9m/2300' course to take 2 minutes off his time from last year, finishing 3rd V45, and 20th overall out of a field of 248.
