Kielder Borderer -17m/3000'

Run scince 1986, the Kielder Borderer race has never attracted more than 50 runners. The entry in the FRA calendar for the race stipulates, "Experience/confidence in bleak remote country and navigational skills essential". Wind, sleet, snow and hail was braved by 45 runners yesterday in particularly boggy conditions, for a memorable day on the hills and by Chris Edis (18th) in 3.46.18.
