Midgley Moor fell race –Saturday 28th March

Cool breezy conditions saw 106 runners turn out for the 5m and 1250’ of the category AS Midgley Moor race in West Yorkshire. Colin Valentine who has already been consistently running well up the field in a number of races this season, ran 46.03 for 15th place. Interestingly, there was much discussion about the best lines as it is said that heather growth alters the optimum route between checkpoints.
