Lords Seat

I am thinking of running on Wednesday night up Lords Seat, is this a fairly clear route to follow? I wasn't sure if there was a checkpoint on the top and somewhere on the return leg? Could anyone please give me a few more details of this run, many thanks Nicky B

The race is being run in it's anti-clockwise incarnation this year. Start and finish at the visitor centre. The first checkpoint is on the Barf summit, the second on Lords Seat itself, and then returning by forest tracks and paths via Tarbarrel moss to the finish. I suspect the route will be quite well marshalled.

Many thanks Steve, do you think I will be a little slow for this event. It took me 3 hours 19 to do the anniversary waltz race, however I did stop due to cramp for around 15 mins!I roughly know the route but am aware that most people will be too far in front to see the route they have taken.
