Me (Phil Winskill), Carl, Steve Hebb and Lee are planing on going down to recce the course on Sunday Feb 24th. The choice is going down the afternoon before and stay over at a YH (Castleton or Edale), or go for a day (early start). It's obviously open to anybody, but if you could comment here, we can share transport etc.

A number of us will be racing at the National XC in Sunderland on Sat 23rd. I will drive to Edale from there -if anyone wants to jump in my car for a lift that way, they're welcome.
Are you wanting to stay over, Steve? Are we keen on the YH plan?
Yeh, I'm well up for a stop on the Saturday night -Castleton/Edale would both appear to be good options. The alternative would be staying in the Sunderland area and driving down on Sunday morning i suppose.
