This race, now in it's 3rd year, is growing in popularity attracting a field of 141 runners, and was won in a record time of 1:01:47 by Darren Kay of Horwich RMI, from last year's winner Jim Davies and Bingley's Rob Jebb.
Dave Birch ran well, running himself into 10th overall in a time of 1:08:52 taking 4 minutes off his pb for the course, from Andrew Murray who took nearly nine minutes off his 2007 time in 1:22:47 (64th) and Dave Harrison who ran 1:35:45 for 1st V60 (107th).
