Blood donations - Braithwaite

We have a blood donation session taking place during the Olympics in Braithwaite:
  • Monday August 6
  • Victory Memorial Hall, Braithwaite
  • 3pm – 7pm
Appointments to donate can be made by calling 0300 123 2323 or via www.blood.co.uk. Or alternatively donors can just walk in. Or run!

The Olympics pose a particular challenge to us in terms of maintaining blood supplies for a number of reasons. Not only will the Games cause people to forget about donating but it will also be harder for regular donors to make it to donation sessions around London, due to the strain on public transport. In addition the many extra visitors the games will attract may lead to an increase in demand for blood.

Donor Relations Co-ordinator – Lancashire & Cumbria
