Last Saturday, John Horne and myself took part in the 53 mile Highland Fling ultra marathon, from Milngavie to Tyndrum along the West Highland Way.
John, in his first attempt at the event, finished 296th in 12:47 hours and I ran a PB of over 40 mins, finishing 28th in 9:18 hours.
