A big well done to all the volunteers who gave up their freetime (and work-time!) to make the commonwealth championships a world-class event. All the athletes I worked with had nothing but admiration for the organisation, the courses and the local population. I felt very proud to be part of this event and the experience will stay with me for a long time to come.
