Last Saturday there was an 18 mile sponsored walk in aid of The Britsh Heart Foundation. Starting and finishing in Fitz Park in took in both Skiddaw and Blencathra in a heart shaped loop and I thought it would be make a great challenge. I would suggest the following must be included; Carl Side, Skiddaw summit, Gale Road Car Park, Blencathra Centre, Blencathra summit, Scales Farm, Guardhouse, south of Doddick, Mill Bridge Threlkeld returning to Keswick on the Railway Track.
