Buttermere Shepherd's Meet 1.6m 1300' Sat 26th October

Forget Inov-8 Mudclaws, the new must have fellrunning kit is the Adidas Samba disco shoes as sported by Chris Edis. Having forgotten his fell shoes Chris opted to run in his flat soled casual shoes and was first to the top in this all out 1.6m sprint. Descending was a different matter and he slipped (literally) back to third spot. Pretty impressive all the same.
