Track session, Saturday 1st September at Tarn Close Track, Cockermouth. 9.30am prompt start, (and most Saturdays). If you want to get faster, this is the place to be. Only positive thinking wanted! Aiming to create a performance squad mentality. All abilities welcome as long as you want to improve, moaning not allowed! Drills and technique work followed by the main session.
Current attendees include Steve Heb, Ian Davies, Rachel Mellor, Dave Prescott, Hazel Davies, Ross Coles, John Beetham, Ian Cousins, Robin Orr and Justine Lee. Russ and Pip have been along too and are welcome again! Don't be put off by 'fast names' a good attitude is just as important.
Expect to work hard, improve your running technique and to occasionally lead a session when you've gained the confidence to do so. All the best fell runners are also good road and track runners. You don't have to come every week - mix and match with your current Keswick AC training.
See you there!
Sam Ayers

Thanks
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for celebrating my birthday.
The kind words, cards, gifts and people attending last night meant a lot to me and made me realise just how special the keswick club is.
Thanks and see you all sometime soon.

Birthday Get Together
Hello all,
I am going to turn 30 on the 28th of August for the first and last time.
I was going to go for a few drinks and maybe a bite to eat after the hill rep session on Tuesday the 28th and would like it if you would all join me.
We could even enter the quiz if a few people come who are a bit (a lot) cleverer than me.
Hope that a lot of you will be able to attend and don't worry I won't hold it against you for long if I don't see you there.
Could any one interested in eating or just going for a drink please let me know so I have an idea on numbers.
Thanks Carl

Lakeland 100 race video
I have just posted a video of my race at the weekend. There are a few problems with the sound and I did less filming in the later stages as I got more knackered, but it gives a flavour of how my race unfolded
